Quitting anything requires having a reason. But reason is the wrong word because it’s not a rational process that you have to influence, it’s an emotional process. So, by reason I mean feeling. A reason that resonates with you in the moment when you’re about to do whatever it is you want to quit.
Smoking, shopping, eating, working late, drugs, video games, etc.
If you want to quit anything, find the reasons that will resound and amplify these feelings. You’ll quit so long as these reasons are your own and you continue to feel them.
